Hero MotoCorp Clocks 4.5 Lakh Units in July 2025 – Vida EV Sales Hit Record High

Hero MotoCorp has registered a strong sales performance for July 2025, dispatching 4,49,755 two-wheelers across both domestic and export markets. This marks a significant 21% year-on-year growth over July 2024, reaffirming Hero’s strong hold on the Indian two-wheeler segment.


📈 Domestic Retail and VAHAN Registrations

As per VAHAN data, Hero recorded 3,39,827 units in retail registrations during the month. With the festive season approaching, Hero expects further acceleration in demand across all categories in the coming quarter.


Vida EV Hits All-Time High Sales

In the electric two-wheeler segment, Vida, Hero’s EV brand, delivered its best-ever monthly performance:

  • Vida EV dispatches: 11,226 units
  • VAHAN registrations: 10,489 units
  • EV market share: 10.2% (YoY growth)

The newly launched Vida VX2 has been well-received, supported by flexible ownership options like Battery-as-a-Service. This consumer-friendly model has made electric mobility more accessible to a broader audience.


🛵 Scooters Gain Momentum

Hero’s scooter segment witnessed a strong performance led by:

  • Xoom 125
  • Destini 125

The rising demand for these models has helped the brand increase its scooter segment market share in July 2025. Both models have gained popularity for their updated features and fuel efficiency.


🏍️ New Motorcycle Launch – HF Deluxe Pro

Hero launched the HF Deluxe Pro in July, targeting the entry-level commuter segment. With updated styling and added value features, this model is designed for budget-conscious consumers, enhancing its appeal in Tier 2 and rural markets.


🌍 Exports Rise by 64% YoY

Hero’s global operations posted 37,358 units in export sales, marking a 64% increase over July 2024. The brand is seeing growing traction in key overseas markets such as:

  • Latin America
  • Africa
  • Southeast Asia

The strong export numbers reflect the rising popularity of Hero-branded motorcycles beyond India.
